*A few technical details comparing this Gen2 to the Gen1 991 GT3 RS*
Aero:
7-8 % more downforce, helped by a new diffuser, wider skirts, broader
front spoiler lip and new rear wing endplates and supports. The same
wing as the GT2 RS, but it sits higher than the one on a [991.1] GT3 RS..
Engine:
Now 4.0 Power up 20bhp to 513bhp, 7lb ft increase to 347lb ft. Gains are
partly from a new exhaust, valvegear, induction system and electronics
which lift the redline to the magic 9000rpm mark (previously 8800rpm).
Bodywork:
New rear tail-lights, new front LED indicators. All new Bumper Vents
reshaped to better channel air to front rads and brakes, and extract it
at the rear. New bonnet mounted NACA ducts to assist brake cooling..
Exhaust:
Titanium silencer and tailpipes, turn a deeper shade of blue with use.
Suspension:
Rose-jointed (apart from one link on the rear-wheel steering system).
Front Spring Rates are up 100%, and up 50% at the rear. As on GT2 RS.
